You Are His Delight

 Hearts opened, minds shifted, and we were reminded of one simple but life-changing truth:

-God delights in you.

Not because of your performance. Not because you have it all together. But because you are His.

“For the Lord takes delight in His people; He adorns the humble with His salvation.”

We don’t strive for God’s affection, we rest in it. He wants to be with us. His heart isn’t cold or distant. He’s not waiting to shame us when we fall; He’s waiting to wrap us in love.

- Micah 7:18-20

God doesn’t show mercy out of obligation. He enjoys it. The cross wasn’t just a necessity, it was a choice. Love led Him there. He eagerly watches the road, waiting for us to return home.

- Luke 15:11-32

Like the father of the prodigal son, God meets us in our mess. He doesn’t wait for us to clean ourselves up; He embraces us, mud and all, and it’s that love that transforms us.

Your name is no longer Forsaken.

Your new name is Hephzibah – “My Delight is in you”

You are seen. You are known. You are delighted in.

• In His presence, striving ends.

• In His presence, sin loses its appeal.

• In His presence, faith becomes confidence, not “I hope God shows up,” but “I know He will, because He delights in me.”

Let this truth root itself in your heart:

You are a son. You are beloved. You are delighted in.

So stop running. Stop hiding.

Sit. Stay. Love. Remain.

You belong in the Father’s house, in every season.
