FREEDOM FROM SIN, FOUND IN THE EYES OF A SAVIOR
At last week’s Bible Study, we reflected on the powerful truth that through Christ, we are no longer defined by sin but by His grace and love.
- Luke 19:1–9 (TPT)
We saw in the story of Zacchaeus that when Jesus enters the “home” of our hearts, His presence transforms us. What once marked our lives like selfishness, sin, or shame, is replaced with generosity, freedom, and new life.
- Romans 5:16–17 (TPT)
Scripture declares the verdict over our lives as “Not Guilty.” Sin and death no longer reign; instead, we are firmly held in the unshakable grip of God’s grace and seated in His righteousness.
- Romans 6:12–14 (TPT)
Sin has been dethroned. It no longer has authority over us. As we remain surrendered to Christ, living in union with Him, we are empowered to walk in true holiness and freedom.
This is the hope we carry: we belong fully to God, forever His sons and daughters.
